Bassline Live is excited to start 2024’s music journey on Saturday 2nd March, being the year we celebrate, alongside our democracy, 30 years of ‘In Music We Trust’, with one of the most important voices to come out of our beautiful country in the last decade, the rare musical gem from the Eastern Cape, Ami Faku, multi-award winning, singer, song writer, who writes & performs hit after hit, such as ‘Into Ingawe’, ‘Imali’, ‘Abalele’ Inde Lendlela’ and many more.
Joining her for this exclusive one-night event are two phenomenal voices, both known for possessing immense talent and rapidly rising as stars. The supporting acts for the evening include Nhlonipho, a versatile music producer, singer, and pianist hailing from eSwatini, who has just released a new EP titled ‘Selemo’ alongside Kekelingo who is an exceptional singer-songwriter and accomplished drummer. Kekelingo is currently making significant strides as a solo artist, having just released his EP titled ‘Pula’, and having left his mark as the drummer and “backing singer” of the Soweto-based band, ‘The Muffinz’.
